My second book, Big F@!king Deal is DONE. Whew! I’m excited and proud of this book. I can’t wait for you to read it. Here’s a proper blurb:
Jimmy Cooper, a former child star and recovering addict, has gotten his second chance at fame as L.A.’s most popular private detective, but his latest case threatens to take it all away.
Hotter than ever, everyone wants a piece of Jimmy, from Hollywood producers thirsting to take advantage of his fame to another former child star who wants to be just like Jimmy. And then there’s the return of his long-absent father. Jimmy wonders if he deserves all this attention and just wants a new case to take his mind off it all.
Lucky for him, Patrick Beverly has been kidnapped. Jimmy is hired by the billionaires Robert and Eva Beverly to find their college-aged son before the ransom of fifty million dollars in diamonds is due. They have one caveat: the police can't get involved.
As Jimmy navigates the landscape of wealth and privilege, his own father lures him back into a life that almost killed him.
In the page-turning sequel to Lawrence Allan's hilarious, award-winning detective novel BIG FAT F@!K-UP, will Jimmy get Patrick home safely, or will the case be thrown into a tailspin?
It’s in the hands of the designer now. I’ll let you know when it’s ready to order.
In the meantime…
Fun Thing
Jimmy Cooper loves his music. Spoilers: so do I.
And it wouldn’t be a Jimmy Cooper book without a song list. And you all get first access to the Big F@!king Deal song list. It’s available to subscribe in both Spotify and YouTube Music.

Book recommendation
One of the things I love about Burying The Newspaper Man by Curtis Ippolito is the twist. The Cop isn’t trying to catch the murderer… but protect him.
Let me explain. Set in San Diego, the book is about a beat cop named Marcus, who discovers a murder victim in the trunk of an abandoned car. The thing is, he recognizes the victim as a man who abused him as a child. Believing justice has been done, Marcus decides to find and protect the killer, risking his life and his career.
The book weaves between Marcus’s Texas past and his SoCal present as he pieces the mystery together. It’s a solid thriller with great twists and turns.
Finally
Big Fat F@!k-Up has great reviews over on Amazon. There’s about 45, last time I checked. From what I’ve read, 50 is a magic number for Amazon’s Algorithm. After 50, they’ll start putting my book in front of even more people. So, if you’ve read it and liked it, it would be wonderful if you could drop a review on Amazon.
Until next time, friends!
